Nothing says "cool and relaxed" quite like these do, and I have often fantasized about planting huge masses of them in some alternate universe that I cannot afford. Maybe... One day.... But for now, using them in smaller groupings will have to suffice. They work well under trees as a ground cover and don't require a lot of water, although I wouldn't go quite as far as recommending it for dry shade. They spread slowly.
