The Gardener's Notepad

One of the finest white-flowered perennials, with large fluffy blooms from mid-Summer to Fall. One thing to note, white is very important in a garden where you intend to linger after the sunset because of it's ability to pick up low light. I'm always awe struck by this, and it is something to consider when planting near your back patio or any place you are likely to see late in the day. And of course, the more white you have the brighter it will appear, so masses are OK.
