The Gardener's Notepad

Here again I will assert my 'favorite' label. Of all the Caryopteris we offer, this is the most shapely. Never looks washed out either. Flowers are a rich lavender blue, held upright over silver-blue leaves. Full bloom in August here in southeastern Pennsylvania. Pairs well with yellow conifers, specifically Juniperus conferta 'Allgold' or Juniperus horizontalis 'Mother Lode'. And a favorite of bees and butterflies.
