The Gardener's Notepad
Abundant along the seashore as it tolerates salt spray just fine. There are huge colonies of them all over Assateague Island growing in what looks to be slightly muddy sand. All parts of the plant are fragrant. A very adaptable species that is as happy at the beach as it is in your yard.
