The Gardener's Notepad
Of the popular red flowered varieties this is probably the best, not only in flower color but also in growth habit. It will stay reasonably full in the bottom branches. Some red cultivars are notorious for getting leggy and vase shaped from the get go. Few things are more unsaleable than a Rhododendron that has defiantly dropped the foliage on it's lower half. Not a good way to start.
