Very lacy, deep purple foliage, combined with light pink flowers. In my experience, best foliage color is had by giving them an aggressive trimming over Winter so they push out big, long, and fresh deep purple branches and leaves. But that is pretty much a personal opinion, and you're free to experiment as you see fit. A sister to 'Black Beauty', also developed in England and marketed in the US by Proven Winners.
