The Gardener's Notepad

Unbeatable lacy-like bright yellow foliage. The foliage emits a soft, pleasant, slightly spicy(?) fragrance which is especially apparent when a good amount of them are in one place. Flowers come out very early, but are not the main attraction. Grown primarily for it's foliage, and works very well in the perennial border. Great Fall color too! Referred to as Ogon or Mellow Yellow Spirea.
