The Gardener's Notepad
'Fire Chief' was discovered as a branch mutation on 'Rheingold', and is much brighter orange in new growth. Color differences are less pronounced over Winter, but over the growing season it really stands out. Responds very well to regular shearing, and it is recommended to do so in order to maintain the brightest possible color.
