The Gardener's Notepad
Slower growing than the species, with thick needles and highly ornamental cones. Light pruning is recommended on occasion, usually in the form of candling, to maintain appropriate proportions. Found at the van Gimborn Estate, Dorn, the Netherlands, in the 1950's and has since become rather popular in the trade. Great color and great form.
