The Gardener's Notepad

Soft green, heart shaped leaves, and a sugary scent in Fall are the primary attributes of Katsura. Several old specimens exist in public gardens in the greater Philadelphia area. The biggest I've seen yet is at the Morris Arboretum. Stunning! The branches are the size of entire trees.
