The Gardener's Notepad
This handsome evergreen shrub is a versatile and easy to maintain industry staple. Though this variegated cultivar may be harder to find than it's more common green-leaved brothers, Boxwood can withstand a number of varying light situations, making it very useful in difficult landscaping applications. It is advised to provide at least some form of shade, specifically in hot summer climates. They can tolerate full shade situations as well, but growth will be less vigorous and less dense. Use Elegantissima as a low hedge, topiary, foundation, or accent plant.
