The Gardener's Notepad
Originating as a branch sport of 'Fastigiata' at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, Durham, North Carolina. More popular in the South, as it is very heat tolerant, but grows reasonably well in southeastern Pennsylvania. Wider than tall, and is able to exceed the stated dimensions if given time. Grows approximately 5 inches per year around here, and prefers a little shade.
