The Gardener's Notepad
Fluffy. That is my best "one word" description of 'Rheingold'. It has been quite popular due to it's comely looks and hardiness/durability. Very resilient and works well in many situations, including planters. I'm using one in a rusted steel container of my own design and I'm quite happy with the effect. Takes pruning well, and best color is had after a meaningful shearing. The foliage color works well with blue flowered perennials, specifically 'Rozanne' Geranium.
