The Gardener's Notepad
Size varies quite a bit, and old trees can get quite a bit larger than stated here. In the landscape they are generally in the 30 ft range with a spread of 15 ft or so. Afflicted by woolly adelgid, among other pests. Can be treated organically with horticultural oil, or chemically with a systemic product.
