The Gardener's Notepad
The foliage of Aconitifolium, aka Dancing Peacock, is always striking. It's especially attractive in new leaf, and again in Fall as cooler temperatures bring out all shades of yellow and red. The overall effectiveness of this tree is enhanced by planting it slightly higher than the viewing point, and is quite lovely near reflecting water or a collection of boulders. Or both!
