The Gardener's Notepad

Frohburg is probably my favorite weeping Norway Spruce, for a variety of reasons which are somewhat hard to define precisely. It is very pendulous, and the needles are smaller and held close to the branches. There is a beautiful example in our Perimeter Garden which was acquired and planted in the Fall of 2018. Originally found as a seedling in 1967 at Andreas Haller Nursery in Switzerland. A seedling of 'Inversa".
